BOOK SHOP
I’m always reading something, and I often share my recommendations online, through my newsletter, or on my social media pages. I love reviewing books on Storygraph, and I am a sucker for a good book club discussion.
If you have ever been interested in looking into my recs, and are interested in purchasing any of these books, I would love for you to check out my Bookshop storefront! Bookshop.org supports indie bookstores across the US. My storefront has multiple sections to help you find the recs you’re looking for, but you can find some of my favorites below.
“Books are letters in bottles, cast into the waves of time, from one person trying to save the world to another.”

Sikh Readathon
Along with hosting the first Sikh Readathon to highlight Sikh authors, I have a section of my Bookshop storefront dedicated to books by Sikh authors! You can find many of them here, with notes from the ones I have already read. Or you can check out #sikhreadathon on IG for recommendations from readers around the world!
Books for a Better Tomorrow
As a life long learner, I recently came across a great post that nonfiction is learning through information, while fiction is learning through imagination. Books for a better tomorrow encompasses the books I believe can help equip us to advocate for the change we need and envision solutions to the problems that hold us back.
For the Kids!
For the kids! - I love being a pooa and a massi, and since I’ve been lucky enough to gain the title, I have been obsessed with instilling a love of reading in the children around me. What started with searching high and low for books in which my nieces and nephews could see themselves, has turned into a collection of books for kids that includes not only picture books I’ve purchased as gifts, but also middle grade and young adult novels that the beloved kiddos in my life have recommended back to me! If there’s a young one in your life you’re looking to gift a book, check here!
